What this is
Alok Engineering Lab is a personal engineering laboratory and digital garden. It is a place to build systems, test ideas, document decisions and preserve useful technical knowledge over time.
What I explore
My work moves across software architecture, automation, AI systems, developer tooling, Linux and system experimentation, information systems and small prototypes.
How I build
I prefer small, inspectable systems over complexity added for appearance. I want important decisions to have evidence behind them, failures to become lessons, and architecture to remain understandable as projects grow.
Why keep a Lab?
A portfolio usually shows outcomes. An engineering lab can preserve the process: constraints, failed approaches, experiments, trade-offs, verification and changing ideas. That history is often more valuable than a polished final screenshot.
Current direction
Building autonomous engineering systems, reliability-focused tools, and a connected technical knowledge archive.
